(ENG) Garden in the Air - BoA

 This is one of the best song on the BoA 5th album "Girls On Top" released in 2005.

 When I was a high school student, I listened to this song stored in my brother's MP3 player and fell into a fascinating melancholy melody.

 I wondered why the title was "Garden in the Air". I know that the Garden in the Air(it means The Hanging Gardens of Babylon) is one of the seven wonders of the world. It's a bit strange that it's written as a song material.

 However, depending on the age and situation, I changed my thinking, and when I heard this song again recently I got a new feeling

The hidden meaning of 'Garden in the Air'??

 Although there is no official interpretation, it is thought to mean the public gardens of the Seven Wonders of Babylon. The public garden was an artificial garden made by the king of Babylon for a queen who left home and suffered from homesickness.

 What feeling does he have, seeing a beloved person suffering from something? You will want to do anything. If you understand that you have such a heart in your song, you will come to much more in your heart

In my thinking

I think this is somewhat different from the above interpretation.

On the song, the main character(Boa) love man. However, the man has other person in mind, and the main character knows the mind of the man.

She tell him that do not look at the other person far away from the man.
In other words, it seems to me that you want to look at me because I will love you more in front of you

(As a result, Boa is the king of Babylon and man is the queen)
